
Aaron Joseph Margolis is a chazzan, performing musician, educator, and CEO & Artistic Director of ArtsEdBuddy. A passionate educator (FL state-certified in Music and English) with a Master’s Degree in Arts Administration, Margolis has years of experience building successful programs within diverse institutions.
As a classically-trained tenor, with backgrounds in applied music, theatre, and dance, Aaron has performed many genres and styles domestically and abroad – from chazzanus and opera, to musical theatre, music for children, and more. A student of Tel Aviv Cantorial Institute (TACI) and Florida International University, Margolis has studied with some of the greatest cantors and musicians of our time, including:

Margolis is a leader in using student-centered approaches to improve outcomes for students and schools. His training and experience includes Capturing Kids’ Hearts, Growth Mindset, Mindfulness, Resilience Education, Kagan Cooperative Learning and Structures, Leader in Me (LiM), The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People®, Collaborative & Proactive Solutions (CPS), Responsibility-Centered Discipline (RCD), and Nonviolent Communication (NVC). Margolis is a Certified Master Trainer for Responsibility-Centered Discipline.
Margolis created ArtsEdBuddy (named after his late father Bennett “Buddy” Eliot Margolis) to share his expertise and talents. After his sister Rachel Heather Margolis passed in 2020, he dedicated his work to creating a legacy in her memory as well. A true innovator, Margolis is a visionary leader and an expert in development, change management, and strategic listening, planning, & growth.
